The first one was taken (at age 58) when I was out with friends, celebrating my recovery with a new lease on life, with a new look. The picture at 65 was taken after my shower, with lipstick as my only cosmetic. The scars were pretty much cleared up, as you can see.

The picture at age 58 was a year after my surgery for a melanoma, taken from my left cheek. The one at age 65 was after a filet of skin was removed from the same area. It was a cancer called squamous . The recovery time was not as long as before.
